A large white Staffordshire ironstone earthenware jug or water pitcher, dating to the mid-to-late 19th century. The bulbous form features moulded, scrolling foliate decoration around the shoulder and body. It has a wide, shell-form flared rim and a heavily ornate, moulded scrolling handle. A/F
