An Edo period (1615-1868) lacquered giltwood figure of Amida Nyorai, glass urna, both hands in raigo-in, posed as standing in a carved lotus dias, buddha and mandorla both removable, height 71.3cm
Wear to the gilding, mandorla leans forward pushing onto the back of the buddha, damage to fingers, likely later mounts under soles of feet, no major, cracks or splits noted
