A set of four Japanese Imari porcelain plates, Arita, 18th century, each of circular form and decorated with floral spray and quail, 24cm diameter (4)
PROVENANCE: From the collection of Dr Christopher & Mrs Helen Girton
All four plates show small pits, frits and surface wear including surface scratching and rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or evidence of restoration. One plate shows a large unglazed frit approximately 11mm x 9mm.
