28-bore Enfield percussion Sergeant's type carbine, lock dated 1860 with Crown VR. The barrel has British proof marks and out of service stamp, with crescent rear sight and bayonet lug. The butt plate is marked 97-M-6. Possibly used by Dockyard Constabulary.
