A pair of early Twentieth Century Austrian twin handled lidded urns, in cobalt blue with gilt highlights and hand painted plaques to the body. earing inscriptions to the bases for 'Rinaldo and Armida' and 'Des Junges Virgil In Genesis, (The Birth of Shakespeare)'. Bearing Bindenschild mark and 'AUSTRIA' to the base. Height: 42cm.
Heavily damaged with multiple areas of restoration, including to the lids, twin handles, bases and rims of vases. Damage to the column of one example.
