A 17TH CENTURY EBONISED TABLE TOP COLLECTOR'S CABINET. of rectangular form with bone inlaid top and sides, and brass corner mounts, the drop down front enclosing eight drawers with decorative bone inlaid borders and brass handles, containing various natural specimens of shells, animal parts, fossils etc, height 22cm, width 30cm, depth 19cm.
Losses to veneer and base, scratches, general surface wear, three metal corner mounts missing, replacement section to front, possibly formerly a lock.
