Sir Terry Pratchett (1948-2015) - a rare Wycombe Technical High School Magazine - Technical Cygnet July 1964 edition, Volume 1 Number 10, containing an early Terry Pratchett story "The Solution", printed on page 25 of the magazine.
Catalogue note:- Terry Pratchett attended the High Wycombe Technical Collage (now known as the John Hampden Grammar School) from 1959-1965, a time that was to inspire and form much of his later works including the Disc World novels to which he is best known. A number of his earliest short stories were first published in the school magazine beginning in the Dec 1962 edition with the story the "Business Rivals". The vendor of the present lot attended the Collage at the same time as Terry Pratchett, sitting next to him in class during his first year.
