British Royal Navy Presentation Silver to Lieut Commander Christopher Theodore Jellicoe RN DSO, DSC and Bar (1903 - 1977) comprising of: Large desk cigarette box engraved with crest of HMS London and inscribed "Lieut Commander CT Jellicoe RN from the Vice Admiral, Captain and Officers of HMS London 16-5-38". Maker marked "WHH" and hallmarked Birmingham 1937. Size 138mm x 202mm x 62mm. Wood lined with two compartments. Gross weight 897g: Vesta Case engraved "CT Jellicoe", maker marked "B&S" Edinburgh hallmarked 1910: Inkwell stand engraved "Commander CT Jellicoe RN from ASDG Staff 1941" maker marked "W&H" hallmarked Birmingham 1935: Silver Propelling Pencil maker marked "JM & Co" date letter M 1947. Total weight on the three items 132g. Comes with some research regarding the officer. (4)
