WW2 RAF Mk.VIII Flying Goggles, Unissued in Box. A very nice pair of original Mk.VIII flying goggles within their original box of isssue. The goggles themselves are in fantastic condition with the original blue grey paint upon the brass frames. The lenses are good and clear with neat leather surrounds and chamois leather face cushion. The elasticated strap remains in situ with the adjustment buckle and leather tabs. The box also houses a spare pair of lenses and a plastic pot with the '22C/1875 Outfit Anti-Mist' upon the lid. The box is marked to the lid with 'Goggles Mk.VIII' and the 'AM with crown to the end. A split is in the card on the lid section. Otherwise a great pait of goggles.
