A George III mahogany veneered campaign type kneehole desk The moulded top above a long frieze drawer, above six short drawers and a recessed cupboard, raised on bracket feet and with brass carrying handles to the sides. 92cm wide x 45cm deep x 73cm high Wirswall Hall, Whitchurch, Shropshire Condition:Generally good and structurally sound. Minor cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. Some small old stains to the top. Veneer patch along back edge of top. Small veneer losses to the base beneath the cupboard. Fine veneer splits inside the kneehole and around the base supports. No evidence of worm.
