1967 Gibson SG Special electric guitar, made in USA; Body: mahogany, finish stripped to natural, various minor dings and scratches; Neck: finish stripped, a few dings, re-stamped serial number, lacquer checking to head face; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: mild wear, refret; Electrics: working, one replacement potentiometer, some rewiring, replaced switch; Hardware: replacement Tune-o-Matic bridge, original vibrato removed and converted to stop bar tail, replacement control knobs, replacement Grover tuners; Case: Hiscox hard case; Weight: 2.83kg; Overall condition: good
Body and neck stripped and oiled finish. Original serial no. lost in the process and restamped. Body in good condition with some marks and dings. Finish to head face appears original with light checking. Later Grover tuners. Refret. Frets in good condition. Later control knobs and strap buttons. original Maestro trem removed and stop bar / tune-o-matic installed. Stopbar installed lower than usual to cover original trem holes. Electric working.
