AN IMPORTANT VICTORIAN ANTIQUE IRISH STERLING SILVER STANDARD (.925) ECCLESIASTICAL ALTER LAMP, by John Smyth, Dublin 1893. constructed in two main parts, the top section suspending three chains hallmarked over the main circular body with chaised & engraved floral decoration, with applied three quatrefoil medallions embossed with SH, (Greek for Jesus Christ), ca 36" drop, ca 18" diameter at base, weight ca 3850 g.
