William S Mycock for Pilkington - A Royal Lancastrian lustre vase, circa 1929, of shouldered ovoid form with short collar and everted rim, painted with galleons at full sail on choppy seas with seagulls in flight under stylised clouds, in gold and silver lustre over ruby red and lilac glaze, painted and impressed marks, height 30cm.
Free from damage, condition commensurate with age and wear, small firing imperfection on inside of rim.
