Sir George Scott Robertson, 2 titles: 'The Kafirs of the Hindu-Kush', London, Lawrence & Bullen, 1896, 1st edition, large folding map at end + 79 b/w illustrations by A.D. McCormick, of which several full page plates, as called for, xx,658pp, rebound full navy blue morocco, ruled and lettered in gilt, top edge gilt, others uncut. A scarce and important work which contains some of the only accounts of this region (then Kafiristan, now north-east Afghanistan) from the time period.
