A VERY GOOD 17TH CENTURY ANTWERP EBONISED PAINTED AND HARDSTONE MOUNTED VARGUENO, with hinged lid opening to reveal a painted panel of three winged angel heads amongst clouds, above a pair of plain panel doors revealing a fall down lid, doors both inset with canvas of figures with a triple oil on canvas depicting figures on a veranda, outside a domed building and further figures to the back door, opening to reveal a superb interior with tortoiseshell and ivory inlay as a baroque doorway with two pairs of Solomonic columns with a small 17th century copper panel of putti and figures, also a Flemish copper panel of Madonna and Child, 32ins high x 34ins wide x 19ins deep, supported on a period marriage base with carved giltwood cupids and octagonal panel, 33ins high x 38ins wide x 22ins deep.
