(Barrie A. F. Clark was born in Hampshire, England, on September 18th, 1943. His artistic journey began in the New Forest, where he spent his childhood. His father, a pilot with the Royal Flying Corps, inspired him to pursue art. Clark attended the Maidstone College of Art and later the Northampton College of Art, completing his studies in December 1962. He initially worked in shop-fitting design before becoming a full-time artist. His work includes detailed images of military aircraft and locomotives, with his Spitfire paintings being particularly sought after by collectors. Clark's art is celebrated for its authenticity and ability to transport viewers back in time, paying tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of those who served in the air.)
