Pair of Beswick-Style Shire Horses with Full Harness (Shipping Available).
A charming pair of ceramic Shire horses, including a large stallion (approx. 20cm high) and a smaller foal/pony. Both are finished in a rich brown gloss with traditional white feathered hooves.
They come dressed in detailed, removable black faux-leather and brass-tone chain harnesses, reflecting the mid-20th-century trend for collecting heavy horse figures.
While reminiscent of Beswick or Melba Ware, these are likely high-quality vintage trade pieces.
Both show fine crazing and minor wear to the harness, but remain in good display condition.
