A 19th century wool worked sampler by Minnie Brown, aged twelve years, dated 1873. A colourful polychrome wool sampler, worked on a open weave ground, worked with rows of alphabet and numerals above large spot motifs of deer, birds, trees, a large basket of flowers and a central angel all worked within a cross stitch border, later glazed and framed. 30cm wide x 41cm high.
