AN EARLY GEORGE I SILVER PORRINGER BOWL, Hallmarked with Makers mark James Goodwin, London c.1714. The circular body with embossed fluted panel to base and rope work band. Engraved to front with monogram, reverse with family coat of arms. With simple reeded scroll handles. Hallmarked to base. With some small cracks to the rope work band, commensurate with age. Dimensions: 7cm high x 14cm wide. Weight: 2.8ozt approx.
