Large Continental Majolica Jardinière on Stand, late 19th / early 20th century, of impressive proportions, the twin-handled bowl with scalloped rim and relief moulded decoration, the interior hand-painted with chrysanthemum-style blooms, the exterior richly glazed in cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre and brown tones, raised on a matching pedestal stand with applied scrolling and mask detail. A bold and decorative example of traditional majolica ware.
Condition: Repair to one foot of the base (secure), otherwise generally good with expected surface wear and light interior staining.
