in turquoise velvet, v-neck, with full length sleeves trimmed with ostrich feather, opened seam to reveal blue sequin inner,
underarms flat approximately 37cm

Cilla Black wore this dress during Royal Variety Performance held on 10th November 1969. Cilla performed a medley of songs to an audience which included Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip and Ann, Princess Royal.

Held at the London Palladium, it was the first Royal Variety show to be broadcast on British television in colour.

Condition: Some marks visible to velvet, some feathers loose, staining visible to hem in places, stiffness to zip, good condition in accordance with age and use.
