Railway. Miscellaneous. A box of Kodachrome DUPLICATE 35mm, slides showing engravings from the London Illustrated News. There are 48 different slides with approx. 10 copies of each. Each packet is labelled with the date and page number of the engraving, most appear to date from the 1840's during the start of the "Railway Mania" period. Not all engravings are railway related, but most have connections e.g. Railway Contractors, Stephenson Addressing Meeting, Opening High Level Bridge, Change of Gauge Gloucester etc. Copyright is not on offer. Sample illustrated.
