A large horizontal stationary single cylinder mill engine, wood lagged cylinder with drain cocks driving a spoke flywheel, ratchet lever operated reverse with the ability to manage valve cut-off travel. Ratchet lever for steam supply, water pump operated from drive shaft. A well-built engine with some age patina, affixed to wooden base with moulded edge. Possibly a 19th century mill owner's office display model, 22" x 10" x 10"
