An Early Victorian tested 9ct gold black enamel and seed pearl mourning brooch, with central rectangular shaped panel for hair with a band of seed pearls, "IN MEMORY OF" in gold coloured lettering on the black enamel to the front, inscribed to the reverse "Sophia Fowler died 24 Feb 1831 aged 54 William Henry Fowler died 17 Jan 1841 aged 69", approx. 4.2cm long and 3.8cm high, approx. 15.6g gross.
