William Frodsham, Red Lion Square London - George III English ebonised double fusee bracket, the 7" x 9.5" brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic numeral chapter ring, gilt foliate spandrels, signed to the centre Willm Frodsham, Red Lion Square, London, with calendar aperture, 'strike/silent' subsidiary dial to the arch, the signed foliate engraved back, anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell, the bell topped case with metal mesh panels to the sides, raised upon bun feet, surmounted by a brass carrying handle, 19.5" high with handle raised (with pendulum) (the doors appear to be later replacements)
