18ct gold half hunter pocket watch with a 9ct gold T-bar and unmarked yellow metal rope twist chain
Case is stamped 18k, t-bar is stamped 9ct, chain is unmarked.
The watch weighs approximately 94.4g on our scales, diameter approx 47mm. The chain weighs 18.7g, including the T-bar.
Started ticking and the second hand began moving when wound, however when listening closely every so often it made more of a hollow thunk noise than a tick. Kept time for an observed period of half an hour.
As watches contain many complex parts we would therefore not make any representations as to their workings and ultimately all lots are ‘sold as seen’. It is always advised that these be taken for a general service as further repair works may be necessary. This would be the sole responsibility of the bidder.
