Catherine Maude Nichols RE (British, 1847-1923): 'Brancaster Staithe', a study of the coastline, etching, signed in pencil lower right margin, with legend verso, 15 by 38cm, framed, 37 by 61cm, together with Fred Newman (British, 20th century): 'The Tower of London', etching, signed in pencil lower margin, 16 by 11cm, glazed and framed, 25 by 18cm. (2) Note: Nichols was one of the first Lady Fellows of the Royal Society of Painter - Etchers, elected in 1882, and a member of the Norwich Art Circle.
