A mid 20th century certified sapphire and diamond cluster ring, circa 1960, the oval sapphire within a surround of twelve round cut diamonds, in white metal claw setting leading to plain polished shank, marked 'plat' ring size O, 7gms, total sapphire weight 4.62ct, accompanied with a Gem and Pearl Laboratory certificate stating the natural sapphire to weigh 4.62ct, with no evidence of heat treatment and origin opinion to be Sri Lankan

All diamonds present, well matched in colour, bright and lively. One diamond appears to photograph with a yellow-ish tinge (not obvious in the flesh)
Very minor inclusions can be seen to some of the diamonds, seen with x10 loupe. All diamonds appear eye clean in our opinion.
