A rare Japanese satsuma polyhedral tea caddy with cover, Meiji period (1868-1912). Of octahedral form with each facet finely decorated with a variety of figural scenes. Signed 大日本雲? with Shimazu mark. 10.5 cm height.
Condition report: Good condition except for some light surface wear. No chips, hairlines or restoration present.
