EARLY 20th CENTURY PAQUEBOT/SHIP LETTER MARKS: 1900-1909 (QV-KEVII) range of markings on covers and post cards (some on piece and stamps) inc. rare examples from the RMS Danube II 'POSTED AT SEA' (1904, blue) and Magdalena II 'POSTED ON THE HIGH SEAS' (1902, purple) s/l (both with Lisbon datestamps), a good 1910 boxed purple 'Paquebot' from Bergen posted on board the Ophir, a 1903 clear boxed black 'Paquebot' out of Capetown, a good large circular 'PAQUEBOT/POSTED AT SEA/RECEIVED/FE 1 11/9.30AM/CARDIFF' on a postcard of the Cunard RMS Campania, plus Southampton Packet-Letters, and mail from Aden, Alexandria, Boulogne, Taranto, Vigo, San Vicente, Singapore, and Suriname.
