Star Lot: A 1956 watercolour on paper painting. Features Hawthorn trees by a coastal side with figures strolling. Rendered in loose, wet on wet brushstrokes. Portrays delicate, broken greens of olives, sap greens, muted yellows, diluted blues, greyed turquoise, warm umbers, muted reds. Initialed 'RH' and dated. Housed in a gilt frame behind glass.
Slight foxing to paper portraying age.
