Pablo Picasso (Spanish 1881-1973) Scene d'Interieur (Bloch 74) lithograph, 1926, signed in pencil and numbered -/100 (edition number has been trimmed) image size 22 x 27.5cm, sheet size 33 x 46.5 cm In the edition there were 13 trial proofs; an edition on Velin Van Gelder paper, numbers 1-100 signed and numbered; on buff paper there were 1-10 signed and numbered; on white paper, 51-100 signed and numbered. Galerie Simon had the stone polished out. The paper is discoloured throughout, especially under the mount, and the paper has been pasted onto board. Trimming to the sides has cut the first part of the edition number away. There are six worm holes to the bottom right corner, and a further hole to each of the top corners (that on the right is within the image). These holes have been covered with conservator's tape on the reverse of the board. Vertical pencils lines on either side of the image (under the mount).
