A LATE 19TH CENTURY GARNET NECKLACE, the silver gilt necklace designed as a central circular garnet cabochon within a tiered rose cut garnet surround, suspending a detachable pear shape drop garnet cabochon with tiered surround, to the floral design garnet cabochon necklace links and push piece clasp, untested, approximate necklace length 460mm, approximate weight 56.8 grams (condition report: some of the garnets have fine hairline cracks, the outer surround to the pear shape drop is detached at the top from the next tier, there is lead solder to the reverse, the last link before the clasp has a small repair to the back but has been done sympathetically)
