1846 (Feb 4) Entire letter from St. Georges to "William A. Atwood Esq., care of Messrs Ingham & Frith, Hamilton", the reverse endorsed "Hamilton Feby 5 1846, Forwarded by your most O. Svt. S.S Ingham", the front with a fine red "BERMUDA / PAID" datestamp and manuscript "Too Late". Fewer than 20 examples of this datestamp known, of which this is one of the finest, and the only one recorded with manuscript "Too Late". A rare item, ex Tucker Collection. Photo on Page 10.
