A late 19th century baluster-shaped glass claret jug with silver-plated mounts; the main body very finely engraved with scrolling tendrils and leaves etc., on circular foot with star-cut base (27cm high)

Condition Report: Some scratching to underside of circular foot rim commensurate with age. The engraving is good quality, the silver mounts are in reasonable order and there is mark to the underside of the hinged lid, also the handle may have been repaired at some stage where the horizontal part meets the vertical at the top - there is evidence of a repair with a small crack.
