The paint surface shows craquelure throughout. There are near continuous losses along the bottom edge of the canvas, and the odd small loss in other areas. Examination under UV shows areas of historic re-touching, particularly to the left hand side of the canvas. The frame appears to be structurally sound, but the natural wood finish is worn and dirty in places.
