An oak and ceramic tile topped coffee table, thought to be by Robin Nance of St Ives, circa 1960s; the rectangular top with cleated sides, above outswept legs; 38cm high, 97cm long, 38cm wide.

Robin’s brother Dicon was apprenticed to Bernard Leach and was responsible for designing and building him a successful potter’s wheel. Subsequently the Leach pottery went on to collaboratively provide tiles for Nance coffee tables. Harry & May Davis also provided tiles from their Crowan pottery near Praze.
