AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE WILLIAM III PEWTER ROYAL COMMEMORATIVE DOUBLE-EARED PORRINGER, CIRCA 1690-1700. Having a bellied bowl, and bossed base relief cast with medallion bust of William III, flanked by a crown and orb, two old-English-ears, each with ownership triad 'L' over 'W E' to front, one ear with touchmark to rear of Samuel Lawrence, London, (fl.1687-1729), (PS5748), height 6cm, bowl diameter 15.5cm, width across ears 28.1cm
