A RARE BOOK EXPLANATION OF THE SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTS BY OMAR BIN AHMED AL MAIEE, KHORFAKKAN, UAE
This rare and important Arabic manuscript presents a scholarly commentary on financial and mathematical principles, authored by Omar bin Ahmed Al-Maiee, a notable figure from Khorfakkan (UAE). The work, titled Sharh Khulasat al-Hisab (ÒExplanation of the Summary of AccountsÓ).

The manuscript is bound in a marbled-paper cover in rich blue tones, reinforced with red leather corners and spine. The opening folio includes a beautifully laid-out title page in black and red ink, naming the author and text with poetic flourishes and dedications.

Internally, the manuscript is written in a clear naskh hand, with consistent line ruling and rubricated chapter headings. The content covers numerical principles, calculations, and applied arithmetic, organised with scholastic precision. Occasional marginal notes hint at its active use as a study text or teaching reference.
