Early Victorian General Officers Peaked Forage Cap, early type blue cloth forage cap with wide lace band in form of oakleaves and acorns, plain knotted cord top. Peak with thick bullion band. Interior with tan leather sweatband and quilted scarlet cloth lining. To the crown is tailors information of Hawkes & Co. Some moth damage and new stitching to the sweatband. Early period example.
