Victorian 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment of Foot Waist Belt, fine example of a brass other ranks two piece waist belt clasp of the 24th Regiment of foot, circlet with ‘2ND WARWICKSHIRE REGIMENT’ and domed centre with ‘24’. Mounted onto white buff leather other ranks waist belt. The 24th Regiment of foot were famous in the Victorian era for the disaster at the battle of Isandlwana and the heroic Defence of Rorke’s drift during the campaign in Zulu war.
