He was shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award in 2007, the youngest artist in the history of the awards to do so. His works have been exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery in 2007, V&A in 2011 and the Saatchi Gallery in 2013 and 2017. Collectors of his work include film director George Lucas and the founder of Flickr and Slack Stewart Butterfield.
