black felt, four panel crown. Pointed front peak with brass edging. Rear rounded brim with leather edging. Single pagri band. Top brass cruciform and spike with rear brass spine. Brass chin chain with leather backing (shortened) supported by the gilt rose head side mounts. Brass, Vic crown royal coat of arms badge. Leather and maroon silk sweatband. Crown lining with "Hawkes & Co" maker's details. Some damage to rear brim.
