Numbered 1/10 in the frank lower right. It will be supplied with a certificate of authentication which has been signed by the Master Printer. PLEASE check the size as this is a very large piece of artwork. Image size 3ft 4" x 5ft 10. This is Klimt's most famous mural and is the only landscape created by the artist during his golden period. Klimt used oil painting techniques with gold paint to create luxurious art pieces. The concept of the Tree of Life is illustrated in a bold and original manner. The swirling branches create mythical symbolism suggesting the perpetuity of life. The branches twist, twirl, turn, spiral and undulate creating a tangle of strong branches, long vines and fragile threads illustrating life's complexity. The branches reach for the sky and the tree of life roots into the earth beneath creating the connection between Heaven and Earth which is often used in many different cultures, religions and ideologies.
