A model of the Steam Motor Coaster 'MV Indorita' by David Whitty. Built by Abdela & Mitchell at Queensferry near Chester for the John Summers Steel Works, Shotton and launched in 1920. During WW2 Indorita worked for the Admiralty as a tender on the Clyde, before returning to John Summers until 1970. It was powered by a 2 cylinder oil fired boiler. A fine model sealed into a teak framed glass case with fluted columns. Case length 870mm, height 540mm. VGC-Mint, very minor corrosion to 2 brass components. £500-700
