Victorian Royal Horse Artillery Officers Sabretache in Named Tin with Accoutrements, fine example with gilt bullion wire central Victorian crowned royal arms over bullion oakleaves, gilt metal artillery field gun and velvet lower scroll with motto. Lace to the edge. Complete with the leather flap pouch to the reverse and the foul weather cover. Bullion work all remains bright. Housed in the original japanned metal storage tin with brass name plaque of the original owner, ‘A Browne Esq’. Also complete with the original slings, belt and busby cords. Some of the accoutrements have kings crown fittings, indicating service in the late Victoria reign and into the reign of Edward VII. Very nice example overall.
