WW2 French Air Force, Armée de l'Air, Type 11, Leather Flying Helmet, Two Examples. Two original examples of the French Air Force leather flying helmets of the Type 11 model. These are both in worn but good order, The interior of one still retains a paper label dating it to 1938. Lovely pair of helmets which would have been in use in the Battle of France days. Age related wear and some leather scuffing.
