William Skeggs, an 18th century walnut and marquetry long-case clock, the 30.5cm arched brass dial with second subsidiary and calendar, signed on a boss in the arch, the 8-day, 4-pillar movement striking on a bell, the case with arched bell-top hood and door with circular glass aperture, on plinth with bun feet, inlaid overall with floral marquetry, 236cm high.
