1906 Picture postcard of the U.S Steamer "Philadelphia", to England, a U.S 2c (faults) tied by the rare Plymouth c.d.s code "2" (Feb 3). An exceptional use of this c.d.s on a U.S stamp, probably unique as such. Minor creasing, otherwise fine, ex Roger Hosking collection (sold in 2014 for £400). Photo on Page 84.
