Set of four Griffe Montenapoleone Milano Italian art glass stem glasses

A matched set of four Italian stem glasses by Griffe Montenapoleone Milano, Made in Italy, each approximately 18 to 22 cm high. The glasses are formed with multicolour millefiori or murrine bowls in orange, red, yellow, white, blue, turquoise and green on a clear ground, with broad gilt rims enriched with a foliate arabesque frieze. Each has a deep cobalt blue spherical knop above a translucent emerald green stem and circular foot, the foot edged with a fine gilt band. Decorative and distinctly Venetian or Murano style, these glasses were made as wine, cocktail or cordial stemware and retain their original gilded detailing and printed underside mark.
